Statista celebrates start of the new year with office opening in Madrid

Over the past few months, work at Statista had a clear focus on internationalization. As to this, it is not surprising that Statista started off 2016 with a new branch opening: from now on, Statista also has offices in the Spanish capital city Madrid.

Madrid, Hamburg, 08/01/2016 – 2015 was an eventful year for Statista – new offices in New York, a branch opening in London and corporate customers in 50 countries all over the world.

As of autumn 2015, the Statista platform is available in four languages, the Spanish and French platforms went online at the beginning of this year. In order to provide our Spanish clients with a direct and close customer service, a longtime Statista employee from the headquarters in Hamburg moved to Madrid to set up the new office space. A content team of by now ten employees has been working with high pressure on the creation of country-specific content for the Spanish platform since last autumn. “It is remarkable how much content the researchers have created in such a short time. I am grateful to be supported by a team like this,” says Eike Schroeder, Head of Sales Spain & Portugal. “I am looking forward to a successful start in the Spanish market.” The motivation is justified – big companies like Heinrich Bauer Ediciones, the FC Barcelona or the University Autonoma Barcelona already signed up for Statista’s Spanish services.

With the new branch offices in Madrid, Statista has now opened its sixth location in order to further provide local customer service and national data content for our 600,000 registered users worldwide.
