29.01.2018 New Ranking: The Companies that offer the Best Customer Service in Italy

Milan and Hamburg (January 30, 2018) - What unites Armani, Esselunga, Val Gardena and Mediolanum online? It’s the quality of the companies’ customer service. They are some of the companies and institutions that won a broad-range and exclusive research conducted by the independent research institute Statista for Italy’s leading business medium “Panorama”.

The survey, whose results are published in the issue of Panorama on newsstands from Thursday 25 January, involved a panel of over 18,500 consumers who expressed their opinion on the service offered by companies and institutions divided into 210 categories: from clothing to tourism, from finance to gastronomy, from motorcycles to sports, from mass distribution to culture, from telephony to fitness centres.

"This is the most detailed survey ever published in Italy", commented the director of Panorama Giorgio Mulè "the result of an exclusive collaboration with Statista, the largest statistical company in the world". In fact, the total ranking consists of 582 awards, showing for each category one to three winners depending on the concentration of competitors - for a total of over 530 companies, agencies and institutions that are considered by consumers as true champions of the service.

The survey was carried out by Statista, a German research company with more than 500 employees with offices in Hamburg, Berlin, London and New York. Statista is considered the world leader in online market data with 15 million monthly visits on the website. Its databases contain more than one million statistics on 80,000 different topics that allow research, analysis and forecasts for 600 industrial sectors and 50 countries. In addition to offering services to companies, Statista collaborates with some of the most prestigious global media for which it creates rankings and top lists: from US business magazine Forbes to British Financial Times, from French Les Echos to German Autobild and Focus, just to name a few. In Italy, Statista has chosen as a partner the weekly Panorama, published by Mondadori.
