London/Hamburg, 06.07.2015 –After substantial development of the German speaking area and the market in the UK, the focus is now on expanding to further European countries. Statista has launched an editorial department aimed specifically at the French market. The headquarters in Hamburg is currently employing eight French researchers who exclusively collect, analyze and examine data for France. By the end of the year, the team is expected to be 10 people strong.

 

The focus is currently set on researching the Internet & E-Commerce, FMCG, Media & Advertisement, Travel, Tourism & Hospitality industries. Just a few months ago, the employers study for France was published for the first time in cooperation with renowned French Business Magazine “Capital”. Due to the unique scope of this survey, Statista rapidly gained prominence in the French market.
