Carbon dioxide emissions in relation to the electricity produced in the CEE 2022-2023
As of December 2023, Poland achieved the highest CO2 emission performance of the Central and Eastern European energy sectors. The carbon dioxide emissions to the electricity produced were 851 grams of CO2 equivalent per kilowatt-hour of electricity produced. The second country with a high indicator was Czechia (600 g CO2eq/kWh).
