Average number of court cases per year in Romania 2013-2019
Many judges in Romania were overwhelmed by the increasing number of cases handled each year. In 2019, a judge at the Appeal Courts had to solve approximately 544 cases. Furthermore, the average number of cases a judge had to solve per year at the High Court of Cassation and Justice rose up to 1153.
