Specific types of treatment for influenza in the U.S. by age and treatment 2016-2017
Among Americans from all ages who received some kind of treatment due to influenza nearly 64 percent had at least one prescribed medicine fill. The statistic illustrates the average annual share of people in the U.S. that had specific types of services for influenza treatment in 2016-2017, by age and treatment type. All in all, some 2.7 percent of Americans received treatment for influenza in 2016-2017.
