Popular ways for followers to discover influencers in Italy in 2019
Italian users discovered influencers through a mix of different channels. A poll from 2019 showed that traditional media were a relevant channel for a quarter of respondents, while recommendations of friends or other people they knew were relevant for 17 percent of users. Purchasers of products suggested by influencers discovered new influencers rather randomly while they were looking for information on specific products. Random browsing was a popular way to find new influencers for 35 percent of brands' followers.
