Share of Italians who purchased online video games 2019, by age group
According to a survey conducted in 2019, about one in five Italians aged between 14 and 17 years purchased online video games or video game updates. Similarly, 15 percent of respondents aged between 20 and 24 years bought these products on the internet. By contrast, only seven percent of interviewees aged between 35 and 44 years did the same in 2019.
