The share of digital retail shoppers as a share of India's population was eleven percent in 2019. Although this was a significant increase compared to only one percent in 2012, the country trails behind China and the U.S. where the figure stood at 46 and 62 percent respectively. Even with 41 percent of the population using internet, India has leaps to make in the e-commerce sector.
