Interstate movements of natural gas in the U.S. 1989-2018
Interstate movements of natural gas in the United States peaked at some 74.8 trillion cubic feet in 2010. Between 2011 and 2016, figures continuously dropped, falling to 59.7 trillion cubic feet of natural gas moved. In 2018, some 68.9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas had been transported, largely via pipelines between states.
