According to a survey conducted across 28 countries, there was widespread optimism around the world about the availability of digital tools and technology. As much as 36 percent of the respondents, in fact, thought that the availability of such instruments was going to improve in 2021. By contrast, people had less trust in what 2021 would bring in terms of employment opportunities and climate change. Some 41 percent of the respondents thought employment opportunities will get worse in the next year, and 38 percent of them saw an acceleration of climate change processes as most likely.
