COVID-19 impact on OTT consumption India 2020-2021
Between January 2020 and January 2021, research showed an average 13 percent growth in over-the-top video consumption in India. The implementation of a nation-wide lockdown between March and June 2020 to curb the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, along with the Indian Premier League cricket season in September and October later in the year saw the highest amounts of time spent consuming video streaming services.
