Perception of booking appointment benefits among UK shoppers in 2020, by generation
According to findings from a survey conducted in the United Kingdom (UK), appointment booking software offered by luxury and non-essential retail to consumers increased during the pandemic in 2020. A quarter of Gen Z and Millennial cohorts claimed the booking software to be efficient as there was no need to waste time in a queue and one only needed to arrive for one's time slot, while fewer Baby Boomers agreed with this statement at 20 percent. Slightly over a fifth of both generation groups found the software fair in relation to a time best suitable for one personally, at 15 and 13 percent respectively.
