Share of Australian sheepmeat import volume in China FY 2022, by storage/meat type
In the financial year 2022, the majority of imported sheepmeat to China from Australia was kept frozen. Frozen lamb and frozen mutton accounted for respectively 49 and 50 percent of Australian sheepmeat imports to Greater China. On the other hand, about merely one percent of China’s imported sheepmeat from Australia was kept chilled.
