Share of people using the internet daily in Europe 2020, by age
In 2019, 95 percent of users across the European Union (EU-27) between 16 and 24 years used the internet on a daily basis. The share of users in this age group that used the internet daily was 100 percent in the United Kingdom, while only 92 percent of users of that age group in Italy use the internet daily. While the share was still above 90 percent in countries like the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands among users aged 45 to 54 years old, the same age group was used the internet significantly infrequent in Poland, Portugal, and Greece. Most countries saw a significant drop of in daily internet usage share among people between 55 and 64.
