During a November 2021 survey carried out among consumer good advertisers in the United States, it was found that on-site search ads were the most popular ad format bought via retail media networks. This type of ad was named by 67 percent of respondents. On-site display/banner ads and connected TV (CTV) video ads followed closely with 66 percent and 65 percent, respectively.
