Time used by individuals to access main drinking water sources in Ghana 2021
To access main drinking water sources in Ghana, individuals travel distances between zero minutes (water on premises) and one hour, sometimes even more. As of 2021, around 4.4 million people in Ghana had drinking water in their home. On the other hand, approximately 407,000 people spent 31-60 minutes to reach their main drinking water source, while for 105,000 individuals, 61 minutes and above were needed to obtain drinking water.
