Share of consumers visiting places where finding halal food was difficult 2023
A survey on the consumer perspective of the halal industry conducted in Indonesia in March 2023 found the majority of respondents stated that they had never been to a place where halal food was hard to find. In comparison, around 13 percent of respondents said they had visited places where finding halal food was hard such as Bali, Manado, Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
