Leading shareholders of ICBC 2022
As of 2022, the Chinese state-owned investment fund Huijin was the largest shareholder of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, owning almost 35 percent of its shares. Out of the five largest shareholders, four are state-owned enterprises, with a combined ownership of around 70 percent. Therefore, despite being a publicly traded company, ICBC is still under the indirect control of the state.
