In 2022, the United States stood as the leading destination for pharmaceutical exports from Latin America and Caribbean countries, reaching over 1.6 billion U.S. dollars. Costa Rica and Honduras followed, with around 535 and 464 million U.S. dollars' worth of pharmaceuticals, respectively. Overall, pharmaceutical exports from Latin America and the Caribbean totaled about 8.92 million U.S. dollars in 2022.
