U.S. private school enrollment rates, by region from 1995 to 2010
This statistic shows the rate of student enrollment in U.S. private schools teaching prekindergarten through to grade 12 (preK-12) as a percentage of all enrollment in the respective regions seen in the graph. In the 2009/10 school year, enrollment in private schools across the whole of the U.S. stood at 10 percent, down from 11.7 percent in 1995/96.
