UK smartphone users with 4G or 5G services 2022

In a May 2022 survey, around 67 percent of respondents in the United Kingdom (UK) had a 4G service on their smartphone, remaining the most popular form of mobile internet connection, while about 25 percent of respondents had a 5G service. 5G mobile connections became available for some mobile phones in the UK in 2019, and have seen an increase in UK usage.
