In addition to their television shopping network, the company also operates a website called qvc.com which serves as the company’s online marketplace. Although the online shopping market is traditionally dominated by large companies such as Amazon, Alibaba and Walmart, qvc.com has managed to carve out a significant online shopping platform, partially thanks to traffic generated by its television network. As of 2018 qvc.com ranked as one of the top e-commerce stores in the U.S. in terms of both net sales and share of visits.
