Consumers thinking global brands made better products in economies worldwide 2023
As of October 2023, three-quarters – or 75 percent – of consumers surveyed in India agreed that global brands made better products than companies local to that country. For comparison, the global average stood at 42 percent. Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, only one-fifth – or 20 percent – of respondents reported a preference for global brands over local, country-level ones.
