Share of adults receiving pay TV in the U.S. 2015-2021, by age
The share of U.S. Americans between 18 and 29 receiving cable or satellite TV nearly halved from 2015 to 2021. Only 34 percent of them used cable or satellite TV services as of February 2021. Meanwhile, people aged 65 years and older were the most likely age group to currently subscribe, with 81 percent saying that they had a subscription.
