Global social video penetration 2015-2017
This statistic presents the social media video penetration rate among internet users worldwide from 2015 to 2017. According to the findings, in 2015, 38 percent of internet users watched a video on a social media platform, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat. As of 2017, this value has increased upwards to 56 percent of internet users. Over one in two internet users are reporting to viewing videos on a social media platform.
