U.S. opinion on companies buying personal data for online ads 2018
This statistic presents the share of internet users in the United States who feel comfortable about companies being able to purchase their personal data for online advertising purposes as of May 2018. According to the survey, 54 percent of respondents stated that they were very uncomfortable in knowing that companies are able to purchase their personal data, while only six percent reported that they were very comfortable with this.
