Italy: trust in healthcare institutions 2018, by age group
This statistic depicts the results of a survey about the trust in doctors, nurses and in the national healthcare system in Italy as of 2018, by age group. According to data, 85.4 percent of patients aged 65 and older trusted the national healthcare system. By contrast, only 62.7 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 34 relied upon the Italian healthcare system. However, the trust in the family doctor was in general higher. Among the respondents aged between 18 and 34 years, 83.2 affirmed that they had trust in the family physician.
