Average terraced house price and annual percentage change in London 2023, by borough
The price of terraced housing rose by about six percent in Haringey, making it the London borough with the highest price annual price increase in August 2023. Despite a decrease of 10 percent, house prices in Kensington and Chelsea remained the most expensive borough in the city, with the price of a terraced house at about 2.7 million British pounds. Terraced housing refers to homes built in a row of houses sharing common walls with neighboring residencies. At about 385,000 British pounds, the cheapest borough in London to purchase a terraced house was Barking and Dagenham. The same borough also had the cheapest average price for semi-detached homes in London.
