Paid social media platforms used by schools for marketing worldwide 2019
In 2019 a survey of schools worldwide reported which forms of paid social media they regularly used. Facebook was the most prominent, with 82 percent of surveyed schools reporting usage of paid ads on the social platform. Google and Instagram ads followed, with 39 and 36 percent indicating usage of these paid channels for marketing purposes. At the same time, however, 16 percent of school stated they were not using paid advertising.
