Share of individuals shopping online on Ciberlunes in Uruguay 2019-2022
Since 2020, about 30 percent of the Uruguayan population have made purchases during a Ciberlunes. An increase compared to 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. Celebrated in two editions a year (usually in May or June and again in October or November), the event is an initiative of the Chamber of the Digital Economy of Uruguay (CEDU, in its Spanish acronym).
