U.S. adults reporting inability to pay for prescribed medicine as of 2021, by income
A survey from 2021 found that between September and October 2021 around 23 percent of adults in the U.S. with an annual household income of less than 24 thousand U.S. dollars could not pay for prescribed medicine or drugs in the last three months due to the cost.
