Journalists on their confidence in recognizing misinformation U.S. 2022
According to an online survey conducted in March 2022, 49 percent of journalists based in the United States said they were extremely confident in their ability to recognize false or made-up information when working on a story. Overall, 21 percent reported to be extremely confident in spotting fake information. Additionally, just two percent of U.S. based journalists they were not at all confident in recognizing made-up information.
