Global electronic waste exports 2022, by leading country

In 2022, France was one of the largest exporters of electrical and electronic waste and scrap worldwide, with over 100,000 metric tons shipped. Germany followed, but by a wide margin, with some 68,000 metric tons exported. That year, eight out of the top 10 e-waste exporters were located in Europe. Nevertheless, the majority of global e-waste exports are carried out in an uncontrolled manner.
