Naked Juice
The Naked Juice brand was first sold in California in 1983. Its name stems from the fact that it had no preservatives, added sugars, or artificial flavors. The company was purchased by PepsiCo in 2007 and has since operated as a wholly owned subsidiary.

In 2017, the refrigerated juice and drink smoothies category was valued at 878 billion U.S. dollars. In the same year, a survey on juice consumption showed that 65 percent of American’s drank juice at least once a week.
